Guests were provided with a program which gave an overview of the exhibition and the work. This could then be unfolded to reveal a poster of one of the artworks within the exhibition.
Texture
Texture is an exhibition that brings typography to life through an exploration of its materiality. As graphic designers we understand the importance typefaces have when It comes to communicating to different audiences. Fonts effect the way people interpret information. They have the ability to influence the overall tone to make a design formal, humorous or even exciting. So it is important to pick a font that will appropriately convey your message. For this exhibition we wanted to move away from our screens and explore this concept hands on. We experimented with a range of materials and techniques to create typefaces that emphasise the feelings they embody.
